YAAZ WINS THE GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2024 WITH THE UZ DINING TABLE

Designed by the Italian design studio AngelettiRuzza, which is also the art director of the Turkish brand, the Uz dining table stood out in the Gardening & Outdoor Living category
with its quality craftsmanship and construction ingenuity

YAAZ, the Turkish brand which has been able to interpret the lifestyle of living outdoors also in extraordinary indoor experiences, is awarded with the prestigious GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2024 with the Uz collection designed by the Italian design studio, to which the company has also entrusted the creative direction.

Chaired by an independent international jury of experts and sponsored by the German Ministry of Economy and Technology, since 1969 the award has selected design products that stand out for their innovative content and qualitative excellence. 

“The Uz dining table stood out in the Gardening & Outdoor Living category with its quality craftsmanship and construction ingenuity: The teak legs can be easily folded away thanks to a rotation that allows the supporting structure to be accommodated inside a recess, making it convenient and space-saving to transport”, stated the jury’s note.

“After winning the IF DESIGN AWARD 2023, the Uz table is awarded with the GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2024 as well. These important recognitions confirm the innovative contents on which the project is based and denote the aptitude of the company to make a difference in the furniture market in terms of intelligent solutions, design and production excellence”, commented Studio AngelettiRuzza, the art director of YAAZ.
